absurdity in sports
So ya know my day just gets better… haha i hear during my state of having NO money and our entire country being in a recession that C.C. Sabathia(formerly an Indian and a Brewer) has agreed to terms with the Yankees to a seven year $161 MILLION dollar deal. okay REALLLY??? He already has made more money in his career than he would ever need… so let me break this down for you…he will be making 23 million a year 1.917 million a month or ya know if ya want it broken down to the day… he will be making 20,000 more in a day than the average person makes in a year… a measly 63,888.89 a DAY… are you kidding me… and you know he gets that even on days when he doesn’t work out or go to practice or even ya know Throw a Strike, which is what all this money is for..
I don’t get it how can we be in a recession yet there are still athletes making all of this money… I have an idea it should be mandatory for every athlete to give half of what they make to the average people out here in the US that are workin their asses off everyday to just make ends meat and live paycheck to paycheck!!!
